McAfee Total Protection beta really slowed down my computer and internet to the point that dial up would have been faster. I uninstalled and reinstalled Zone alarm -

It looks packed with new bells and whistles. I havent tried the back-up but it got a good review. IMHO, I think McAfee has the best protection so I think its a winner. -

Good options but seems very cluttered. AS other user said, slows machine. Is a good choice only for pc having 1gb of ram or more. Give it a try.
