I was thinking about getting the XBR model. However after comparing this model with the XBR in store, there is no difference between them. So why spend $700 more for nothing? I am sure this one is going to last a long time. -

I love this as soon as i take it out of box. The setup was easy. The remote was not as complicated as i thought it would be. The Cable & antennae function was very flawless. I don't even need a bunny ears to get over the air HD.
Although i am not much of a videophile but the image is wonderful. I love it.
I like the stylish look , like the logo illumination. Price is reasonable and comparable to the other 120Hz category TV. -

We bought the 46W4100 a few weeks ago, it took a few minutes to hook it up, (the hardest part was lifting it out of the box)great input selection made it super easy to connect up our VCR (we have a lot of kids videos on VHS), DVD player, cable box and Wii console. The kids (10 & 5) figured out how to use the easy to use remote and switch between inputs in a heartbeat, and the family is enjoying this beautiful high quality screen. I'm adding a Sony amplifier with built in video upconversion to 1080P so that we can watch even the older videos and DVD in high resolution and take advantage of the Bravia Sync feature to further simplify remote control use. -

I LOOKED AT THE SHARPS THE SAMSUNGS EVEN THE LG'S NOTHING COMPARED TO OUR KDL-46W4100 EVEN THERE XBR WHICH FOR THE PRICE DIFFERENCE THE ENGINE MAY BE A BIT DIFFERENT BUT ALL IN ALL THEY ARE PRETTY MUCH THE SAME T.V. MOTION ENHANCER IS A BEAUTY TOUCH, CINE MOTION AND OPTIMIZER ALSO GREAT ADDITIONS. MY FRIEND HAS A MORE EXPENSIVE SAMSUNG THAT DOESN'T HAVE THESE OPTIONS. 1080P WITH THIS LCD IS AMAZING!!!!!! WITH MY SURROUND SOUND ITS KILLER!!!!! BE SMART FOLKS YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH A SONY!!!!! -

Great tv, just make sure it works before the deliveryman leaves your house or make sure you have the warranty. Sony's support is horrible. I have alot of Sony products and really love them but they are really being a pain on this. All I want is for them to replace the brand new tv but they are making me wait for a back ordered part. It has been 2 weeks and still no TV!
Updated on Nov 26, 2008Ok so Sony tech came out 3 weeks from the date I recd tv which didn?t work from day 1. They replaced the BU BOARD and within 2 minutes of replacing it the screen still is messed up. Now they said it might actually be the LCD screen. I called SONY again and they still don?t want to replace this tv!!! Sony sent me a broken TV and they don?t want to accept that they should replace it for me. I asked for my money back and they can?t do that. Just beware, love the picture of this TV but Sony customer service is absolutely awful!! 100% completely dissatisfied with SONY. -

Excellent film reproduction and solid cable hd performance. Perfect integration with PS3. Color accuracy, contrast, gaming response, are all excellent. A solid buy all around, especially if bought on sale! -

Overall an excellent product from a company that has always put quality above price, features etc. Though the competition is stiff this product shines in overall perfromance and satisfaction. An excellent buy for anyone who is most interested in HD video performance. Just watch "Transporter" on BluRay and "Lord of the Rings" on DVD - you'll be blown away. -

I have waited forever for ths tv. Sony has done it again. I purchased this tv to replace my kdl46xbr3, and man is it an upgrade. I am running all HDMI to cable box, blue ray, ps3 and xbox 360. The picture I can say 1000 x's is amazing. Its an upgrade to the xbr and totally blows away my kdl52w3000. The tv looks hot definatley better than the brushed metal look of the w3000. The only draw I have found thus far is Sony has removed the picture size adjustment from the pip menu. This was a hot feature on the w3000. Why they removed it is beyond me. Overall I am super happy for this purchase.
