Very good
THE GOOD
Produces a deep level of black; accurate primary colors; dejudder mode smoothes moving video with few artifacts; screen attenuates ambient lighting; solid connectivity with four HDMI and one PC input; numerous picture controls including white balance; attractive styling with transparent pane below screen.
THE BAD
Black level fluctuates in dark areas; less accurate color decoding; below-average viewing angle; cumbersome menu system.
THE BOTTOM LINE
Sony's midlevel KDL-46W4100 gets you solid dejudder video processing but otherwise its picture quality falls short of the top tier.
