I like this set very much but after 3 years it wouldn't work I had my local repair man come by on a hot L.A. day and nearly had to call 911 for a doctor this thing is heavy after one week they brought it back with a bill for $399.00 thank you very m... read more » -

Purchased the TV in Feb. '04. Died in Nov. '07. All evidence I have found from others with the same problem is that this is a result of poor material quality. Sony just claims "Out of Warranty". So, now I have a $2,500 boat anchor.
