Very good
THE GOOD
Attractive design; decent sound quality; separable speakers; line-in/line-out; ability to recharge iPod; built-in USB port for PC connectivity; decent bass for a system without a subwoofer.
THE BAD
Can't control volume without remote; remote control offers only rudimentary navigation; somewhat pricey.
THE BOTTOM LINE
Though it's fairly pricey, the Monitor Audio i-Deck is one of the best-sounding and most attractive stereo speaker systems for the iPod.

I really like my iDeck. It has good bass and excellent midrange and high detail. It does not have the bass punch of my Cambridge Soundworks but I listen mainly to jazz so the bass of the iDeck is fine. I throw on some funk occasionly and it kicks ju... read more »
