This camera and the upgrades are well worth the extra moneyI paid for it. It is exceptionaly quick to focus in all situations so far. I mainly use my camera for nature and wildlife photos and sports photography. The Alpha 700 is so much faster that I am amazed with every photo. The pictures and great, in focus and outstanding colors and contrast. I liked my A100 but I love the Alpha 700.
