A terrific camera for the price. This is my second Fuji Finepix. I like the ease of use and the durability of Fuji cameras. And, you cannot beat the colors that this camera captures in your photos. For the novice, the automatic mode is there to help you take wonderful photos. For those more advanced, you can experiment with aperature and shutter speeds, and can establish custom settings. I considered some other name brands that are more recognizable than Fuji, and I even purchased one. But I quickly returned it and went and purchased this camera. I don't think you'll regret it. -

I really like this camera. It is very easy to use, takes good pictures, does everything you would want it to do. I doubt that it is professional quality, but for the everyday person it is fantastic. Very easy to hold and shoot. Several of my friends saw ours and went out and bought one.
Couldn't be happier with the purchase. -

We bought this camera on a bit of a whim. Went to buy an FZ28 and then started playing with an SX110IS. Decided we liked the Canon enough to buy it but as it wasn't in the budget needed to reconsider the FZ28.
Saw the S2000HD and it was exactly the same price as the Canon. 15 zoom, 9mp, HD movies, dual IS. Wow! So for the price of the FZ28 we could get both the Fuji and the Canon.
These are our sixth and seventh digital cameras and usually do a lot of research before buying the next one. Sadly new nothing about the Fuji and we have been so disappointed with it I took the Fuji back today.
We're not novices and have no problems playing around with the settings to get a camera taking good shots but no matter what we did we couldn't get a good shot out of this camera. If the video had been good I could have forgiven it but it was just as bad as the photos with some weird blocky distortion across the bottom third of the three videos we took.
We had some lorikeets playing in our back yard. We took photos with both the Canon and the Fuji. I also took photos with my now nearly four year old Nikon Coolpix S4. The photos taken with the Fuji just didn't compare. No clarity, weird colour, poor focus.
I really wanted to like this camera. It felt so right to hold, great balance, nice controls. Just a shame it took crap photos. So it's gone back and it looks like the FZ28 will join the stable in a couple of weeks.
I bought the Fuji from a local department store but next time I'll take my Extreme III card with me to one of the local camera stores, go out in the street and take some pics, bring them home and see how they compare with the old Nikon and the new Canon. -

After looking at a number of DSLRs to replace my old 3.1Mp Vivitar point-and-shoot (which was terrific for its day but starting to look a little dated), I settled on the FinePix S200HD. I'd previously fallen in love with the Konica AutoReflex line of 35mm SLRs before the digital revolution and this camera has given me the same joy of picture taking that I experienced years ago with my Konica. It is light, well-balanced and easy to use. Battery life is much better than I got with my Vivitar. Most options are intuitive. The ones that aren't seem sensible once you've read the manual and understand what they are actually doing. I have no hesitation recommending this camera to anyone who is in that grey area above just taking snapshots but below expert. A true enthusiast will want to go for one of the fine DSLRs on the market, but if you're not quite there yet, this camera will get you pretty close for only a bit more than $200. Thank you, Fuji! -

Dislike the fact its made in Vietnam. Whats next? Made in Bangladesh? The camera goes back to B&H tomorrow.
